What is a Psychic?

psychometry.
Derived from the Greek word psyche, meaning ‘mind’ or ’soul’. Psychic is often used synonymously
to denote the paranormal. Any event that appears to challenge conventional assumptions regarding the limits of possibility is designated a psychic phenomenon or paranormal. Literally, “beside the normal,” a paranormal event is one that violates the boundaries of space and time, or cause and effect, as they are normally percieved,to be especially gifted with, psi abilities to any degree.

• Police Helicopter Nearly Collides With Sinister UFO In Birmingham

  A police helicopter had a close encounter of the alien kind in the skies over Birmingham, it has been revealed. The near miss between the West Midlands police chopper and the UFO happened at 1,500ft above West Bromwich in May. The police aircraft was carrying out surveillance over the area when the attention suddenly switched from ground to sky. Beside it was a small aircraft beaming out continuous bluegreen lights. It came within 300ft, forcing the pilot to swerve out of its path, and appeared to circle the helicopter before flying off.

  A conspiracy is a secret agreement among a group of people attempting to conceal something. The two biggest conspiracies in our lifetimes, if true, are the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the coverup of the presence of extraterrestrial beings on earth. Kenn Thomas, author of a book titled MAURY ISLAND UFO: THE CRISMAN CONSPIRACY, points out a remarkable string of coincidences that may actually tie the two conspiracies together. According to Thomas, a man named Fred Crisman played a central role in these seemingly unrelated events. On June 21, 1947, an airplane pilot named Kenneth Arnold spotted what he described as “flying saucers” over Mt. Rainier in the State of Washington, launching the modern UFO era. The term “flying saucer” soon became part of the UFO lexicon. There were many UFO sightings later in 1947, including the famous Roswell crash incident.

• Possible UFO Spotted In Central Austin

  The Austin Planetarium is now investigating some strange sights in the sky caught on tape. An astronomy expert is calling them unidentified flying objects UFOs. Some men who live in a Central Austin apartment building say theyve seen bizarre things in the sky for months, but lately its been more frequent. The men recorded their sightings on home video. Experts from the Austin Planetarium visited the apartment building area Friday night to see if they could also spot the objects. Nothing appeared in the sky Friday that would convert any skeptics. But the home video show by Carl Lancaster and Doug McCullough may raise questions in some peoples minds.

• What Is That?: Callers, Air10 Spot UFO Over Sacramento

  News10 often receives calls from those who spotted something unusual in the night skies. Its not nearly as common for those calls to be backed up by our own Air10. While shooting Friday Night Football highlights over Sacramento, Air10 pilot Ed Georges and FNF correspondent Angel Cardenas spotted a strange set of lights flying over their helicopter. Not long after their sighting, several callers phoned the News10 newsroom to report seeing the same phenomenon. So what is it? • Seacoast A Spooky Magnet For Ghost Hunters; To Film 2nd Episode At Isles Of Shoals

  The investigators behind the SciFi Channels “Ghost Hunters” program cant get enough of the Seacoasts spooky history, so they returned this past week to film a second episode seeking out paranormal activity on the Isles of Shoals. Producers, a film crew and the stars behind the hit cable reality show spent two days in October looking for scientific proof of ghostly activity at the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse and Fort Constitution. Results from that visit are slated to air on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
